Public Hearing on Landlord Incentive Proposal April 9

WATCH submitted a proposal to the Community Preservation Committee. Join us Tuesday, April 9 for the public hearing, and show that Waltham will stand up for affordable housing!

Earlier this year, WATCH submitted a proposal for a Deed Restriction Buy-Down program. The program offers a landlord incentive: participating landlords will be paid a substantial lump sum in exchange for renting their unit affordably for the duration of a 10-year deed restriction.

Things are already moving quickly for this proposal. There will be a CPC hearing for it on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30pm at Waltham City Hall, and we need your support. Every person who rallies for this hearing is a testament to the strength of this community and our commitment to improving access for everyone in Waltham.

Let us know we can count on your presence.  RSVP here, or contact Genoveva by phone at (781) 891-6689 ext. 208 or by email.
