Offers free, new furniture; only for the elderly and disabled; free delivery.

Household Goods
Furniture and household items for low-income families and individuals at their warehouse in Acton. Must bring your own truck and physical labor to move furniture.  A referral from an advocacy agency is required.  Come to WATCH's Housing Clinic for a referral.

RAFT (a State program)

Furniture and moving costs for clients who qualify as at risk of homelessness (if being evicted, must have received a court summons), overcrowding (must provide a letter from the primary tenant), or other emergency situations. Must be screened by a RAFT staff member, who comes to our office every other Tuesday to meet with clients (appointment necessary). Come to WATCH's Housing Clinic for pre-screening and to make an appointment.


Salvation Army
Occasional help with the purchase of appliances like (washer, dryer, dishwasher). Call to inquire.

Mission of Deeds Furniture for low-income residents in Middlesex or Essex Counties. Must pick up in Reading, MA (North Shore).   Clients must be referred by an advocacy agency, hospital, school, or religious organization.

Referring agency must complete the referral form found here. (The WATCH tenant clinic can help with referrals) The client then must call the number below to set up the appointment.

Provides low-income families with recycled furnishings, household goods, and appliances.
