Insurance
MassHealth provides health benefits and help paying for them to qualifying children, families, seniors, and people with disabilities living in Massachusetts. We may offer benefits directly or help pay for all or part of your health insurance premiums. If you are a member, you may have access to doctor visits, dental, prescription drugs, behavioral health services, and other important health care services.
Eligibility:
- Must be a Massachusetts resident
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a satisfactory immigration status
- and Must be financially eligible (see chart below)

MassHealth Enrollment Assister
This site tells you where you can find the agency near you which can help with MassHealth enrollment issues. Enrollment Assisters generally have translation services if English is not someone’s first language.

A program that helps to get/ pay for medical equipment. Clients must register by calling their health insurance provider or by filling out a registration form online.

BCIL (Boston Center for Independent Living)
The BCIL is a frontline civil rights organization led by people with disabilities that advocates to eliminate discrimination, isolation and segregation by providing advocacy, information and referral, peer support, skills training, PCA services, and transitional services in order to enhance the independence of people with disabilities. Services are available in various languages.
