Waltham Community Response Collaborative
What is the Waltham Community Response Collaborative (WCRC)?
The Waltham Community Response Collaborative (WCRC) is an interagency partnership dedicated to strengthening access to services and improving coordination among local organizations. Our collaborative includes Africano Waltham, the Waltham Boys & Girls Club, Jewish Family & Children’s Services (JF&CS), and the Waltham Partnership for Youth.
Together, we work to remove systemic barriers that prevent families from easily connecting with essential resources. We recognize that when parents are overwhelmed by complex systems without support, the resulting stress can impact children—disrupting routines and increasing the risk of mood disorders due to household instability. By improving collaboration across agencies, we aim to reduce these burdens and create a more accessible, supportive network for Waltham families.
This initiative is funded by a five-year grant from Boston Children’s Hospital.
