The tutoring program is an opportunity for volunteers to make a new friend, gain new skills and learn about another culture! No special skills or experience are required beyond the desire to be more involved in your community and support an immigrant. Anyone can be a tutor.

After training and orientation, each volunteer tutor is paired with an adult learner in Waltham who is seeking to improve their English. WATCH staff supports tutors as they meet weekly with learners.  At the end of each semester, we have a potluck celebration.  Most pairs continue after their first semester together.

If you are interested in becoming a tutor or would like a tutor, e-mail Brian Logue or call him at (781)-570-4359.
