Starting October 2, 2020, citizenship application fees will increase and fee waivers will be eliminated. Apply for citizenship before the fees increase and there is no chance of getting a fee waiver.
Starting October 2, 2020, citizenship application fees will increase from $725 to $1170 and fee waivers will be eliminated. Apply for citizenship before this occurs. The Right to Immigration Institute is offering to help qualified individuals apply for US citizenship.
You qualify for US citizenship if:
You have been a permanent resident ( Green Card holder) for at least 5 years ( or at least 3 years if you got your Green Card through marriage.
Fee waivers available for:
1. Households earning less than 150% of the federal poverty level or receiving a means-tested benefit like MassHealth, SNAP, or public housing.
2. Households earning less than 200% of the federal poverty level ( partial fee waiver)
