Tips for Immigrants Concerned About Detention

  • Document length of stay in MA: Immigrants can be deported in 48 hours (expedited removal). Keep proof of at least 2 years of residency, like a MassHealth letter.
  • Privacy Act Release Form: Submit this form to Senator Warren’s office to fight expedited removal.
  • Court Options: Attend housing or other court by Zoom if allowed.
  • Decrease Police Interaction: Follow laws and ensure car inspections are up-to-date.
