For the Community
The next cohort of the Bridges to Green Jobs program is coming back to Boston, February 3rd - February 14th, 2025!
In case you missed it, LISC is partnering with DBEDC to host the next cohort of BGJ in Dorchester and piloting new program components.
What the program offers:
- Two weeks of hands-on technical training (basics in construction, carpentry, and weatherization), essential job skills training, and career exploration in the clean energy field (stipends up to $1,000 upon meeting eligibility and participation requirements).
- Connection to employers and extended training opportunities in clean energy, access to financial coaching, individual and group check-ins for 12 weeks post-program, and financial support/incentives for up to the first 6 months in the field.

Key Bridges to Green Jobs Stats:
- 96% People of Color
- Participant age range: 18 – 55
- 97% of graduates complete the program
- 76% of graduates obtain jobs
- $850 average weekly starting pay (data from Weatherization Tech pathway only)
Deadline to apply is January 20th, 2025. Interviews will run from January 14th - January 24th, 2025.
